Research and Experience Highlights:

  • He has continued working as a seasonal tax practitioner with a local firm and specialized in small business returns, further developing a desire to understand the role of taxes in firm performance and strategy.
  • Jason’s several years in sales and territory management with two Fortune 500 companies provided a reference point at the other end of the firm-size spectrum.
  • Jason’s primary accounting interest is taxation and both his primary teaching and research interests are in this area.
  • Dr. Stanfield holds an active CPA license from the State of Indiana, and is a member of the American Accounting Association, American Taxation Association, and the Indiana CPA Society.
